Hello, it really is trying again and again. I have also been searching many sites and finally on Coreelec I found the right software for my box the MagicSee N5 MAX 4G. It was amazing that it finally worked. By the way, are you using the RESET method? Very important. Once I reset the box it really made a huge difference.
You can also try reflashing the android box with the original software. This has not been easy, but I learned a lot!
I am personally now looking into why my controller doesn’t work on the EmuELEC side but works on the Android side. My brother better love his damn gift because it has NOT BEEN EASY!
Altho, I am glad you got it working, CoreELEC is not EmuELEC.
Which DTB did you use? you can try to use the same DTB from CoreELEC to see if it will boot EmuELEC
