Can't install an original emuelec version on my S905X4 device

Hello!

I bought this device from AliExpress hoping I could replace the card and install a newer and original version of EmuELEC, but no matter what I try, it won’t boot. If I don’t use the original image version from the seller, the screen just stays black. I’m attaching a few pictures of the board as well, there is no reset button or UART connection, nothing at all. Do someone have any idea how I could fix this?

I already passed the scripts which were stopping me to use a different sd card, this does not matter, I just want a newer and mostly an original version of emuelec. In this moment, the devices runs with this customized emuelec 3.9 from the seller… This version shows my cpu as S905M, but if I take the alluminium plate off, I see a S905X4 cpu with 1GB ram… And if I try to add more roms, it won’t appear

As it is really a S905M 1st gen instead of s S905x3 or X4 (I lived the same scam) your best hope is to upgrade till 4.2 or 4.3 which is the last version for amlogic old processors , you download the tar from their GitHub and use the .update folder method
