Use this category for any device that is not officially supported by EmuELEC, while you won’t get official support you can still discuss with others and hopefully come to a solution. Please do not post links to any ROMS, BIOS or Pre-made images, or anything that violates licenses and/or copyrights.

Guidelines and rules:

  • Only post here if your device is not supported
  • No links, discussion or anything related to license and/or copyrighted material
  • Any device that comes with EmuELEC pre-installed, and/or includes ROMS or BIOSES is considered a non-supported device.

Hi there
I bought an android box online and I chose a Tanix TX3 Amlogic S905X3 4GB RAM 64GB ROM noting that it is supported by Emuelec etc. After waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive I’ve used AIDA64 to check the system specs and it has:

Manufacturer: Amlogic
Model: TX3
Brand: Amlogic
Board: newton

And then when I use the command “cat /proc/device-tree/amlogic-dt-id” I get: ‘sm1_ac214_4g-1000w’

Am I right in saying I’ve been sent something other than a s905x3 unit? Can anyone advise whether an ac214 will work with Emuelec, and if so what device tree I can use?

Good afternoon, have you tried before trying the DTBs “sm1_s905x3_4g” available in Emuelec?

Who has the dtb file of ugoos X3 PRO?

The dtb file of ugoos X3 PRO is sm1_ X2CUBE_ 4g, but I don’t. Can my friends help me?

try this: sm1_s905x3_4g_1gbit.dtb or sm1_s905x3_4g.dtb
