# EMUELEC4.2 boot failed

My device is X96 Max+ Q2, S905x3, 4G/32G, wifi, BT, GBe.  
Img used: EmuELEC-Amlogic-ng.aarch64-4.2-Generic.img  
DTB used: sm1\_s905x3\_4g\_1gbit.dtb

I got stuck as the screen snapshot:

BTW, my device have no problem with EmuELEC 4.1 dev branch. I have uploaded the log file on GitHub before.

Ah, I solved the problem. I switched from a 4GB sd card to a 8GB sd card. The boot process is successful. The reason for the problem, I guess, is that although EmuELEC image file is roughly 2GB and can fit in a 4GB sd card, it needs more space for system partition and working. So, the minimum requirement should be a 8GB sdcard.

Yes this is known, 8gb is the minimum
