# About the Unsupported Devices category

Use this category for any device that is not officially supported by EmuELEC, while you won’t get official support you can still discuss with others and hopefully come to a solution. Please do not post links to any ROMS, BIOS or Pre-made images, or anything that violates licenses and/or copyrights.

Guidelines and rules:

- Only post here if your device is not supported
- No links, discussion or anything related to license and/or copyrighted material
- Any device that comes with EmuELEC pre-installed, and/or includes ROMS or BIOSES is considered a non-supported device.

Hi there  
I bought an android box online and I chose a Tanix TX3 Amlogic S905X3 4GB RAM 64GB ROM noting that it is supported by Emuelec etc. After waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive I’ve used AIDA64 to check the system specs and it has:

Manufacturer: Amlogic  
Model: TX3  
Brand: Amlogic  
Board: newton

And then when I use the command “cat /proc/device-tree/amlogic-dt-id” I get: ‘sm1\_ac214\_4g-1000w’

Am I right in saying I’ve been sent something other than a s905x3 unit? Can anyone advise whether an ac214 will work with Emuelec, and if so what device tree I can use?

The dtb file of ugoos X3 PRO is sm1\_ X2CUBE\_ 4g, but I don’t. Can my friends help me?

try this: sm1\_s905x3\_4g\_1gbit.dtb or sm1\_s905x3\_4g.dtb
